Mica-May (pronounced Meesha) is the founder of Bright Futures and the brains behind Boost! She has been working in Education sector for over 10 years. Within this time she has received a Foundation Degree in Children and Young People's services, A BA (Hons) degree in Education studies and a Post Graduate Certificate and Diploma in Education. She has worked as a Teaching Assistant, Teacher, Assessor in a variety of roles in Primary, Secondary and Further Education and is currently a Local Authority School Governor for a Primary School in the Nottingham area. Education is at the heart of everything Mica does and she founded Bright Futures to 'Empower Lives through Education' and has successfully done so by focusing on individual student's success.
Tazreen is one of our tutors who supports us creating the maths boost books. Taz studied Education and Sociology at Undergraduate level at Keele University and is a qualified Primary school teacher and Education Masters graduate from the University of Cambridge. She has led Science and Mathematics and is currently an accredited professional development lead for primary mathematics, member of the British Society for Research into Learning Mathematics as well as a remote tutor and is proud to be a part of the Boost team.
Polly Pascoe is our non-executive director, Polly joined the team in August and has since supported the growth and development of Bright Futures. Polly Pascoe is an established organisational leader, with over a decade’s experience managing teams, programmes and projects across the public and voluntary sectors. She completed her Master of Science in Leadership, Management and Change in 2015 and is currently studying for her PhD in Evidence-Based Management. She currently lectures in leadership and management at Anglia Ruskin University. As non-executive director, Polly brings her expertise in performance management, quality improvement and evaluation to the organization, providing strategic advice and guidance.
